FAMILIA!!! Qué bueno escuchar de ustedes en esas cajas tan bellas. Me alegra mucho ver que todos estén bien. Yo, no tanto como ustedes, pero estoy relajándome un poco ya que sé que este año va ser diferente, un año de cambios especiales y de metas que se van a lograr! Mi primer año nuevo como misionero no fue nada de mi expectativa. Al fin, todo fue un día lleno de emociones por qué las personas estaban en carrera entonces fue un poco difícil obtener nuestras 20 conversaciones, pero lo hicimos!
Entonces la razón por qué me estoy esforzando TANTO de obtener 20 conversación cada día: es una promesa de un 70 que vino a la misión hace poco y nos prometió que si hablamos con 20 personas por 3 semanas consecutivas sin fallar un día, nuestras áreas mejoraran mucho y tendríamos mucho trabajo y muchas personas saldrían de sus casas a aceptarán este mensaje. Tome esta prueba como una meta, y hemos sido triunfante por las pasadas 2 semanas. Algunos días hemos obtenido 24 o 27 conversaciones y en verdad me siento bien haciendo esto! De los investigadores que tenemos, 4 son de las conversaciones, eso está bueno!!
El Martes encontramos otro potencial que se hizo un investigador y tuvimos una lección en la calle. Me encanta tener lecciones en la calle por qué testifica que no importa a dónde estemos, cuando testificamos de estas cosas, el Espíritu puede estar ahí!
El Miércoles fue un día también lleno de Milagros. Pudimos tener 4 lecciones que no eran planeadas, uno con un miembro, y fueron muy espirituales. Siento que somos guiados por el Espíritu, para hablar de las necesidades de nuestros investigadores; por qué durante las lecciones están conectadas con cada palabra que decimos, y las preguntas que presentamos nos están ayudando mucho entender más sus necesidades. Lo importante de saber las necesidades de cada persona por qué cuando Elder Delgado y yo planeamos para las lecciones, son más efectivas y podemos saber hacia dónde queramos terminar. Por ejemplo, la mayoría de las veces queremos terminar las primeras lecciones con una invitación para hacer bautizado, o invitarlos que vayan a la iglesia con Nosotros! Me encanta planear así por qué no solamente le estamos enseñando al Señor que queremos ser los mejores misioneros posibles, pero también para trabajar en unidad; en compañerismo y con el Espíritu!
El Jueves fue mi primer Año Nuevo como misionero y fue chévere porque todo el día estuvimos testificando de la Expiación y cómo podemos ser limpios y poder tener nuevos comienzos. Fue tan Bello ver cómo las personas se alegraban de esa notica. Me hace tan feliz por qué siento que en verdad estoy haciendo una diferencia!! 😃 En la noche fuimos a comer a un Buffet que se llama "Home Town Buffet"; es muy popular aquí como Golden Corral. Disfrutamos con ellos y pudimos comer rico! La dieta empieza el Lunes jajaja Llegamos a casa y tuvimos un planeamiento semanal muy productivo. Al final, hicimos un inventario de compañerismo. Lo que hacemos en este inventario es hablar de las fortalezas del compañero, del compañerismo, de nuestras metas, y cómo podemos ser mejores! Me encanta esto por qué si somos humilde, sale mucho consejo que nos puede ayudar como persona. A las 12, nos despertamos para ver todos los fuegos artificiales de nuestro balcón. Fue increíble; puro ruido y bulla, y muchas luces.
El Viernes, nuestro líder de zona nos dijo que íbamos a tener intercambios. Yo iba ir otra vez con Elder Colman mi paisano como la última vez. De ahí disfrutamos mucho juntos!
Buenos. Les voy a mandar un foto de mis análisis de mis estudios de las escrituras la próxima semana por qué esta semana no tome una foto de mi cuaderno. Pero estudié la introducción del libro de Mormón, todos los testimonios, y el resume! Lo más que saqué de todo es que no hay otro libro que ayuda a una persona obtener una mejor relación con el Señor y nuestro Salvador que el Libro de Mormón!

FAMILY!!! Good to hear from you, those boxes were so beautiful. I'm glad to see that everyone is doing well. Me, not so much as you, but I'm chilling a bit because I know that this year will be different, a year of special challenges and goals to be achieved! My first New Year as a missionary was nothing like I was expecting. It was a day full of emotions; people were in a hurry so it was a bit difficult to get our 20 conversations, but we did it!
So the reason why I'm trying so hard to get 20 conversation everyday is: a seventy who came to the mission recently promised us that if we spoke to 20 people for 3 consecutive weeks without missing a day it would greatly improve our areas and we would have a lot of work and many people would accept our message. I took this challenge as a goal, and we have been triumphant for the past two weeks. Some days we have even obtained 24 or 27 conversations and I really feel good doing this! Four of our current investigators came from this challenge !!
On Tuesday we found another prospect who has become an investigator from a lesson we had on the street. I love having lessons on the street because it testifies that no matter where we are, when we testify of these things and the Spirit will be there!
Wednesday was a day full of miracles. We were able to have 4 lessons that were not planned, one with a member, and they were very spiritual. I feel that we are led by the Spirit to discuss the needs of our investigators because; during lessons they are more connected to every word we say, and the questions presented are helping us better understand their needs. It’s important to know the needs of each person because when Elder Delgado and I plan for lessons that are tailored to their need they are more effective and we know what our end goal is. For example, most of the time we finish the first lesson with an invitation to be baptized or invite them to come to church with us! I love to plan this way because not only are we showing the Lord that we want to be the best possible missionaries, but we are also working in unity; and with the Spirit!
Thursday was my first New Year as a missionary and it was cool because all day we were testifying of the Atonement and how we can be clean and have new beginnings. It was so beautiful to see how people rejoiced in this news. It makes me so happy and I feel like I'm really making a difference !! 😃 That evening we went to eat at a buffet called "Home Town Buffet"; It is very popular here like Golden Corral. We enjoy it and had delicious food! The diet starts on Monday lol. We got home and had a very productive weekly planning. At the end, we did a personal inventory of each other. What we do during this inventory is talk about the strengths of companion, companionship, our goals, and how we can be better! I love this because if we are humble, we are left with a lot of advice that can help us as a person. At midnight,we woke up to see all the fireworks from our balcony. It was incredible; pure noise and bustle, and many lights.
On Friday, our zone leader said we were going to have exchanges. I would be with Elder Colman like last time. We had fun!
I studied the introduction of the Book of Mormon, the testimonies, and the summary this week! The main thing I took from my study is that their is no other book that helps a person get a better relationship with the Lord and our Savior than the Book of Mormon!
