Hola Familia,
La
semana pasada fue intensa por que hemos visto que nuestros invesitgadores estan
tomando las lecciones casualmente y no creemos que estaban viendo la
importancia en cumplir sus compromisos entonces oramos con mucho poder. Queriamos
saber cual era la mejor manera para decirle la importancia de todo esto.
Sentimos que siendo francos y directos era la mejor manera de hablar con ellos.
Respondieron bien cuando visitamos con ellos y pusimos nuevas fechas las cuales
ellos mismos oraron y fueron guiados. Sentimos que en verdad el Espiritu estaba
ahi para testificar que lo que deciamos es verdad y de Dios. Visitamos a una de
nuestras referencias. Ella tiene 16 anos y esta super preparada. Nos dijo que
esta leyendo la Biblia todos los dias y ora con frequencia. Este Sabado la
visitamos y la invitamos a ir a la Iglesia. Dijo que si y estuvimos super
emocionados. Bueno llego el Domingo y no pudo llegar por que se desperto tarde.
Y como se desperto tarde, Satanas se aprovecho y tiro muchas pruebas hacia ella;
por ejemplo, los testigos de Jehovah la visitaron y eso la limito para venir a la
iglesia. Aun que Satanas este trabajando duro en Los Angeles, el Espiritu de
Dios esta trabajando mas duro para ayudarnos y para guiarnos como ser mejores.
Por
favor oren por mis 3 investigadoras. Ellas son 3 senoras que estamos ensenando
desde que llegue a la area. Ellas fueron parte del grupo que hemos puesto nuevas
metas para bautisarse. Las personas aqui son tan dispuesta para escuchar,
tambien ahi muchos catolicos aqui. Pienso en Tina todos los dias jajaja.
El
Jueves tuve una experencia chevere mientras mis estudio personal. Estuve
leyendo en Alma 40 (cual es un capitulo super bello de doctrina super profunda).
Estoy marcando las escrituras con un proposito para encontrar: las bendiciones,
las invitaciones y acciones, y consequencias. Cada uno tiene un color
especifico que me ayuda entender el mensaje de las escrituras! Bueno en Alma
40:8,
“Ahora bien, nada importa si hay más de una época señalada para que resuciten los hombres, porque no todos mueren de una vez, y esto no importa; todo es como un día para Dios, y sólo para los hombres está medido el tiempo.”
Alma 40:8
En este versiculo,
vemos que Dios siempre sera el Redentor antes y despues del tiempo mortal. El
11 me gusta por que dice somos llevados de regreso a ese Dios que les dio Vida.
Regresamos a casa como espiritu para esperar nuestra segunda venida.
Bueno,
esta semana a sido loca con mis azucares por que los miembros me estan dando
mucha comida rica, pero llena de Carbs, se esta poniendo muy sensitivo el
azucar hasta un punto que cuando como una taza de arroz en casa y pongo la
insulina adecuada, se me sube hasta 261. Bueno, estoy orando muy fuerte para
que se regule mis azucares. Aprendimos de una manera de orar en una reunion de
districto que se ve en el Antiguo Testamento. Como se hace es que oramos por
algo especifico, (como que se regulen mi azucares para que esten siempre en
85-120) y decimos "sea pues" que pasa para que los milagros vengan.
Solo hay que prometerle que siempre vas a hacer algo, como ser obedientes al
exacto. Entonces la oracion sono haci.
"Voy a hacer todo lo que puedo para ser exactamente obediente y ser
saludable, y sea pues que mis
azucares se regulen a 85-120." Los pasados 2 dias e hecho todo lo que
puedo para seguir todas las reglas y mis azucares han estado en esta zona.
La
oracion poderosa sirve y el Senor nos quiere bendecir! El es nuestro Padre
literal y nos quiere guiar siempre.
El
sabado hicimos "Splits" otra vez; yo con Elder N. en mi area. Fue
increible, en verdad; disfrutamos de nuestras fortalezas y nos enfocamos en las
bella misericordias del Senor.
NUEVAS NOTICIAS !!!!!
Elder B. se va del area. El ha estado aqui por 7 meses, desde Abril. Soy el
primer companero que el ha tenido aqui que a durado mas de un traslado, y ahora
el se va a una ciudad que tiene el sobrenombre de Korea Town. Elder M., va ser mi nuevo companero.

Hello family,
This
past week was intense because we have been noticing that our investigators are
taking lessons casually and we think they were not seeing the importance in
meeting their commitments, so we prayed wholehearted. We wanted to know what
was the best way to explain to them how important these commitments are. We
felt that being forthright was the best way to reach them. They responded well
when we visited with them and set new dates, which they themselves prayed for
and were guided. We feel that the Spirit was there; to testify that what we
said is true and from God. We visit one of our references. She is 16 and is
super prepared. She said that she is reading the Bible every day and prays with
frequency. This Saturday we visited her and invited her to come to church. She
said yes and we were super excited. Well Sunday arrived and she didn’t come
because she had woken up late. And since she woke up late, Satan took advantage
and sent many trials her way; for example, Jehovah's Witnesses visited her and
that kept her from coming to church. Even though Satan is working hard in Los
Angeles, the Spirit of God is working harder to help us and guide us in how to
be better.
Please pray for my 3
investigators. They are three ladies whom we have been teaching since I arrived
to this area. They are part of the group that set new goals for baptism. People
here are so willing to listen; there are many Catholics here. I think of Tina
everyday lol.
On
Thursday I had a cool experience during personal study. I was reading Alma 40
(which is a beautiful chapter filled with profound doctrine). I'm marking the
scriptures with a purpose to find: blessings, invitations and actions and
consequences. Each has a specific color that helps me understand the message of
the scriptures! Well in Alma 40: 8
"Now whether there is more than one time appointed for men to rise it mattereth not; for all do not die at once, and this mattereth not; all is as one day with God, and time only is measured unto men. "

In this verse, we see
that God will always be the Redeemer before and after mortal time. In verse 11,
I like where it says we are taken home to that God who gave them life. We come
home as spirits to await our second coming.
Well,
this week my blood sugar has been all over the place because many of the members
have been giving us lots of delicious food, but they are full of Carbohydrats. My blood sugar is getting very
sensitive, to the point that a cup of rice that I eat at home and I inject the
adequate amount of insulin still goes up to 261. Well, I am praying very hard
for my blood sugar to regulated. We learned of a way to pray at a district meeting
that can be found in the Old Testament. It is done by praying for something in
specific (like for my blood sugar to regulated so that they are always in the
85-120 range) and we say, "it shall be" what happens so that the
miracles come. You just have to promise that you'll always do something, such
as being exact obedient. So the prayer sounded something like this "I will
do everything I can to be exactly obedient and healthy, and it shall be that my
sugars will be regulated at 85-120." The past 2 days I have done
everything I can to follow all the rules and my sugars have been in this range.
A powerful prayer
works and the Lord wants to bless us! He is our literal Father and he want to
always guide us.
On Saturday we did
"Splits" again; I was with Elder N. in my area. It was amazing,
really; We enjoyed our strengths and focus on the beautiful mercies of the
Lord.
NEW NEWS !!!!! Elder
B. is leaving the area. He has been here for seven months, since April. I am
the first companion he has had here that has lasted more than one transfer, and
he will now go to Korea Town. Elder M., will be my new companion.
