November 9, 2015- Misericordias Tiernas/ Tender Mercies

Que semana tan increible!!!!

Una semana llena de milagros y misericordias tiernas. Para empezar, felicitaciones con el Barrio de espanol!!! Entiendo la necesidad por que aqui muy pocos en el Barrio hablan Ingles. 

Bueno como siempre, nuestro P-day se corto en medio por todas las cosas que tenemos que hacer. 

El martes senti un amor tan grande por todos nuestros investigadores. El martes tuvimos 2 lecciones increibles, un miembro, y un nuevo investigador. Los milagros de Dios se estan manifestando.  Una de nuestras nueva investigadora, esta tan dispuesta para aprender y aplicar estas ensenazas; es un ejemplo! Despues J.!!!!!!! Se va bautisar este Domingo que viene ( el 15 de Nov). Siento un amor tan grande por ella y del Senor para ella. J esta pasnado por unos cuantos problemas con su familia y dice que siente el Amor del Senor cuando lee las escrituras. Oro para que nada se ponga en su camino para progresar para su Bautismo! POR FAVOR OREN POR ELLA PARA QUE TODO VAYA BIEN EL DOMINGO!!!

El miercoles era el Dia par air al Templo! Tan bello el templo de Los Angeles. Es una luz en esta ciudad llena de oscuridad. Los cuartos son tan bellos y tan espirtuales. El espiritu estaba tan fuerte y nos motvio para ayudar a todos a venir a esta casa sagrada. Nos fuimos despues y empezamos a trabajar con un fuego del Espiritu.

Tuvimos un entrenamiento el Viernes como Zona estaba tan bien preparado. Hablamos de 3 diferentes temas: La importancia del Libro de Mormon en las lecciones, la importancia de los miembros presentes en cada leccion, y "Los Angeles". El ultimo tema era el mas fuerte de todo! Hablamos de los angeles que nos rodean cuando estamos en el servicio del Senor; tambien como miembros de esta Iglesia.   En Doctrina y Convenios 84:88 habla de esto perfectamente.

Y quienes os reciban, allí estaré yo también, porque iré delante de vuestra faz. Estaré a vuestra diestra y a vuestra siniestra, y mi Espíritu estará en vuestro corazón, y mis ángeles alrededor de vosotros, para sosteneros.

Estamos en los ultimos dias donde todo esta restuarado a su plenitud; siempre estamos protegidos. NUNCA ESTAMOS SOLOS!!!! Las personas que encontramos y traemos hacia la iglesia pueden cambiar generaciones. Mira el ejemplo de Tio neni y tu madre. Ustedes fuernon un ejemplo a tantos, especialmente a Andrew, Melissa, y a mi para cambiar a tantos a venir hacia la Iglesia de Dios! Por su persitencia a seguir fuerte en la Iglesia de Dios, cambiaron las vidas de papi, y de Abuelo y Mami Dalia para cellarse en el Templo para las eternidades. Estos tiempos son una senal de la segunda venida de Cristo y es tan especial que yo como misionero es una senal tambien. Nunca me voy a cansar a decir que esta es la Iglesia de Dios y aun que los extrano mucho a ustedes, no quisiera estar en otro sitio haciendo otra obra como estar en Los Angeles ayudando a mis Hermanos venir hacia Jesucristo.

Un milagro es este una hermana que se llama E. Este mensaje lo mande a mi Presidente de mision. 

El Hymno "Cuenta tus Bendiciones" realmente podría aplicarse a esta semana! Me encanta este desafío de encontrar las misericordia tiernas por que en realidad nos empuja cada día  a encontrar los milagros que el Señor nos ha dado.  Una de estas misericordias fue con una de nuestras investigadoras llamada E.  Ella a tenido mucha dificulta recibiendo la respuesta de cual iglesias es la verdadera.  Ella estaba en su otra iglesia cristiana escuchando el pastor dar un sermon sobre la Biblia. Mientras ella estaba escuchando el sermón, oyó algo acerca de su iglesia solamente alabando la Biblia y nadie, ni nada, más. No podía creer que ella oyó eso y en ese momento sintió que lo que había sido decirle es cierto. Ella recibió su respuesta que lo que estamos diciendo es verdaderamente de Dios y que somos sus mensajeros. Estamos estableciendo una fecha bautismal esta semana y no podemos esperar a escuchar cómo eso va a salir! 

Bueno esperen una invitacion por el correo que quiero hacer como una familia en este tiempo de milagros y misericoridas tiernas!

Los amo mucho y hablamos en un poco mas de un mes!!!!!!! (Primero Dios como dicen los chicaaaaaaaaaaaaaanos!)

Esta semana fue el primer cumpleaños de mi hijo (el sobrino del Elder Arguelles). Elder Arguelles me ayudo con una sorpresa que le queríamos dar a nuestra familia.  Yo quería que mi hermano estuviera presente de alguna forma.  Estas son algunas fotos de la sorpresa.

What an incredible week!!!

A week filled with miracles and tender mercies. To start, congratulations on the new branch! I understand the need because here very few speak English. 

            Well like always our P-day was cut in half because of all the things we need to do.

            On Tuesday I felt a great love for our investigators.  We had two lessons one with a member and another with a new investigator.  The miracles of God are manifesting themselves.  One of our new investigators is so open to learn and apply these teachings; she is an example! Then there is J!!!! She is going to be baptized this upcoming Sunday (Nov 15).  I feel a great love for her and the Lord’s love for her.  J is going through several problems with her family yet she feels the Savior’s love for her when she reads the scriptures.  I pray so nothing will get in her way in progressing towards baptism. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER THAT EVERYTHING WILL GO WELL!!!

On Wednesday it was the day to go to the Temple! The Los Angeles temple is so beautiful.  It is a light in this city full of darkness.  The rooms are so beautiful and spiritual.  The spirit was so strong and motivating to help everyone come to this sacred house.  We left and started to work with a burning fire fueled by the spirit.

We had training on Friday as a zone, it was very well prepared.  We spoke on 3 different themes: the importance of the Book of Mormon in lessons, the importance of member’s presence in each lesson, and “The Angels”.  The last theme was the strongest of all.  We talked about the angels that surround us when we are in the service of the Lord; also as members in this church.  In Doctrine and Covenants 84:88 it talks about this perfectly.

And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up.

            We are in the latter days where everything has been restored to its fullness; we are always protected.  WE ARE NEVER ALONE!! The people we find and bring towards the gospel can change generation. Look at the example of you mother and uncle.  You guys have been an example to many, specifically to Andrew, Melissa and me to change many lives and to bring them to the church of God. Because of your persistence to continue being strong in the church, and changing the lives of dad, and the lives of Grandpa and Grandma in order for them to be sealed in the temple for all eternity.  These times are a signal of the second coming of Christ; and it is very special me being a missionary is a signal to.  I am never going to get tired of saying that this is the church of God and even though I miss you guys so much, I wouldn’t want to be in any other place doing another work like I am being here in Los Angeles helping my brothers come to Jesus Christ.

One miracle is this sister called E. This is the message I sent to my mission President:

The hymn "Count your Many Blessings" really applied this week! I love this tender mercies challenge because they really push us to dig deep through out the day to find the miracles the Lord He has given us. One amazing Tender Mercy was with one of our Investigators named E. She has been having troubles receive her answer of what church is true. She was in her other Christian church and she was listening to her pastor give a Bible lesson. As she was listening to the sermon, she heard something about her church only praising the Bible and no one, or nothing, else. She couldn't believe that she heard that and at that moment she felt that what he had been telling her is true. She received her answer that what we are saying is truly of God and that we are His messengers. We are setting a baptismal date this week and can't wait to hear how that will turn out! 

            Be on the look out for an invitation in the mail that I want to do as a family in this time of miracles and tender mercies!

EDITOR'S NOTE

This past week was my son's birthday (he is Elder Arguelles nephew).  Before my brother left I asked him if it was going to make him sad for us to talk about the events that he would not be "physically" present for.  He assured me that he wanted to stay informed.  It was very important to me for him to be included is some type of way. So I sent him a shirt with a letter, and the surprise for the rest of the family was an emotional and unforgettable memory that I will always treasure. Here are some pictures recreating the surprise.  I truly have a special brother and could not be prouder of him.
