La misión
ahorita esta increíble. Gracias por esas cartas increíbles. Nosotros tuvimos
conferencia de Estaca esta semana y fue increíble. Las personas están
dispuestas a ayudar pero dicen que no tienen tiempo para salir con nosotros. Es
tan importante la relación de los misioneros y los miembros por que los nuevos miembros
se quedan con el barrio y no los misioneros. Es muy importante!!!! POR FAVOR
AYUDEN A LOS MISIONEROS CON ESTO, LO NECESITAN !!! LO DIGO DE EXPERENCIA
JIJIJI!

Bueno,
hay muchas cosas buenas que me
pasaron esta semana jajaja. El
martes tuvimos el chance de hacer "splits" con los misioneros del distrito.
Mi distrito es increíble. Elder Williamson es el misionero que me toco por los
"splits" y aprendí como organizarme mejor porque su experiencia es increíble.
Todo es bueno con ellos. Cuando estuve en su área por el día, conocimos a
muchas personas que ponen las drogas antes de la familia. Hablamos con una señora
que no tiene casa y quería hablar con nosotros. Estuvimos hablando y nos dijo
que no puede ver a sus hijos porque es muy violenta y siempre está
involucrada en las drogas entonces
el gobierno no se los da. Es muy triste porque ella dijo que los ama mucho pero
le encanta estar en la calle y hacer cosas malas como festejar, drogas, fornicación,
y etc. Dijo que le gusta mucho pero siempre piensa en sus hijos. Dijo "
ustedes me entienden" y no le pudimos mentir que en verdad le entendemos
como es ella, pero le pudimos testificar del amor del Señor y como él esta tan
dispuesto a ayudarnos a cambiar, y como poder fortalecer nuestra relación con
la familia. Eso fue muy difícil para mí ver una madre no tener las prioridades
adonde deben estar. Terminamos ese
"splits" con un almuerzo en la casa de unos samoanos. La comida de
ellos es muy rico pero LLENO de Carbs. MI madre!!!. Me tomo un poco para contar los carbohidratos pero lo hice,
estoy experto. Cuando nos fuimos, vimos que estavamos en Watts. Dicen que Watts
es peor que Compton. Estuvimos ahí por muy poco y nos fuimos porque son las
reglas que no podemos estar tanto ahí.
Muchos de
la zona estamos haciendo ese ejercicio de Push-Ups. Escribimos los numeros 1-15
en 4 diferentes colores y el color es ese estilo de push up y el 1-15 es
cuantos tienes que hacer:
- Blue- Wide push ups
- Pink- Tricep Push ups
- Orange- Diamond Push ups
- Green- Regular
Mi bicicleta
tiene su propia mente porque cuando quiera, no servir y las llantas se explotan
como 3 a 4 veces cada semana. Cuando pasa esto, nos retrasa mucho por que
dependemos mucho de ella para ir de lado a lado.
Estoy
cocinando muy rico. Cocine 6 piernas de pollo al horno y hice una salsa con
tomatillos, chilles de armol, tomate, cebolla, ajo, sal, y pimenta, y otras
ricas vegetales. Me estoy pasando y estoy aprendiendo a cocinar mucho más rápido.
Estoy muy agradecido por este don del Señor jijijiji
Un momento espiritual:
Un dia
estavamos en via hacia una lección y le estábamos echándole ganas para llegar
pronto. Antes de irnos, sentí que tenia que ser obediente a lo exacto. Cuando
nos fuimos, no me abroche mi caso entonces cuando sentí esto, me lo abroche. En
la vía hacia la lección (recuerdas que te dije que mi bicicleta tiene su propia
mente) buenoooooo... Cuando estuvimos cruzando a la derecha, el freno se congeló
y pegue un hueco en el piso, duro. Di una vuelta y caí en mi espalda. Me dolió
mucho pero recordé que WOW, ese sentimiento de ser obediente al exacto era por una razón!! En verdad los mandamientos son para nuestra
seguridad y una manera para ensenarle al Señor cuanto lo amamos para seguir la vía
que él nos ha dado. Hay muchos que son cristianos, pero pocos son los que
entienden el por qué, el Señor hace lo que hace. Puedo testificar que en verdad
los recursos que nuestro Padre Celestial nos a dado es por una razón. Él sabe
cual es la mejor manera para llegar hacia El!

Hay que dejar nuestro deseos
carnales y hacer lo que nuestro Dios quiere que hacemos!!!

The mission right now is incredible. Thanks for the
amazing letters. We had Stake conference this week and it was amazing. People
are willing to help but say they have no time to go out with us. It is so
important the relationship between missionaries and members because new members
are left with the ward, not the missionaries. It's very important!!!! PLEASE HELP THE MISSIONARIES, THEY NEED IT!!!

Well, there are many good things that happened this
week. On Tuesday, we had the chance to have "splits" with
missionaries in our district. My district is amazing. Elder Williamson is the
missionary I was with during "splits" and I was able to learned how to organize
myself better because of his experience, it was incredible. Everything is good
with them. When I was in the area we met many people who put drugs
before family. We spoke with a woman who is homeless and wanted to talk to us.
We talked and she told us that she couldn’t see her children because she is very
violent and always involved in drugs so the government doesn’t allow her to
see them. It is very sad because she says she loves them very much, but loves
being on the street and doing bad things like partying, drugs, fornication,
etc. She said she likes it a lot but always thinks of her children. She said
"you understand me" and we could not lie to her that we truly
understand how she is, but we could testify of God's love and how he is so
willing to help us change, and strengthen our family relationships. That was
very difficult for me to see, a mother not placing priorities where they
belong. We ended "splits" with lunch at the home of a Samoan family.
The food was very delicious, but FULL of Carbs. Oh my! It took me a while to
count the carbs, but I did it, I'm an expert. When we left, we saw that we were in
Watts. They say that Watts is worse than Compton. The rules do not allow us to
stay there very long.

Many of the missionaries in my district are doing this
Push-Ups routine. We write the numbers 1-15 on 4 different colors and the
color is the styles of push up we have to do and the 1-15 is how many we have
to do:

My bike has a mind of its own, it works
when it wants to and the tires pop 3-4 times a week. When this happens, it
causes a big delay because we rely on it to go anywhere.
I'm cooking very well. I baked 6 chicken legs in a
sauce made with tomatillos, chilies, tomatoes, onions, garlic, salt, and
pepper, and other yummy vegetables. I'm learning to cook much faster. I am
grateful for this gift from the Lord.
A spiritual moment:
We were on our way to a lesson and we were trying
really hard to be on time. Before we left, I had felt that I needed to be very
obedient. When we left, I had not buckled my helmet when I noticed it, I
stopped and buckled it. On the way to the lesson (remember I told you that my
bike has a mind of its own) WELLLL ... I went to turn right the brake got stuck
and I hit a hole hard!! I flipped over my bike and fell hard on my back. It
hurt a lot, but I remembered that feeling of needing to be very obedient was
for a reason!! In reality, the commandments are for our safety, and a way to
show the Lord how much we love to follow the path he has given us. There
are many who are Christians, but few are those who understand why the Lord does
what he does. I can testify that the resources our Heavenly Father has given us
are for a reason. He knows the best way to return to him!
Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.Mark 14:38
We must leave our carnal desires and do what God wants us to do !!!
